We are hosting a very special fundraising event

The event starts on Sunday the 30th September between 8am and 2pm and will help raise funds for a spinal operation for a 9yr old aspiring gymnast.

Phoebe has early onset scoliosis, and needs help to raise enough funds to receive an operation called V.B.T. (Vertebral Body Tethering).

Unfortunately this type of operation is unavailable on the NHS, so the family will need to go abroad, covering costs such as insurance, travel, accommodation & aftercare to name just a few.

The image on the left shows the currently available option on the NHS that will fuse the spine for life. It's an extremely invasive operation with many risks and would have to be performed at least twice.

The image to the right is the Vertebral Body Tethering option that is done by keyhole surgery. It is far less invasive and the risk of infection is massively reduced. Although it's still a major operation, it would only need to be done once and would leave full movement to the spine!

After the family Spoke to Phoebe's NHS specialist in early August 2018, he confirmed V.B.T. will be available on the NHS within a couple of years but Phoebe's curve is nearly at the limit for it to work. Hence the reason they are having to take her abroad for this life altering operation.

Our love of bikes continues and to show our appreciation to some good 'ole favourites of ours, we'll be hosting a Classic Kawasaki day on Sunday the 19th August 2018.
We're expecting a good turn out with loads of classics to be appreciated! We'll be looking forward to seeing some big Zs, H1s, H2s,KHs, GPZs  and loads more.

Super Sausage’s stunning crown!

The national competition to find Britain’s Best Cafe came to an exciting conclusion this week when Super Sausage Cafe from Potterspury in Northants was once again revealed as the nation’s favourite cafe.

Back for its second year, the national competition organised by SIG Roofing and run with the help of its 120+ branches nationwide recognise the amazing food, service, hard work and efforts of local cafes across the UK. The 2017 competition has been a roaring success with over 500 cafes from across the UK competing to be voted as Britain’s Best Cafes and tens of thousands of public votes received.

Representatives from the cafes of the competitions 14 regional finalists gathered at the celebratory lunch held at London’s Chiswell Street Brewery on the 9th November to receive their awards from Andrew Wakelin, Managing Director of SIG Roofing, and find out who was to be crowned the National Winner.

During the celebration Andrew offered his thanks and congratulations to all those who played their part in the highly successful competition, which recognises and celebrates the role that the Great British cafe plays in helping the nation get through their working day - courtesy of the famous Bacon Buttie, legendary British Breakfast or a tasty lunch.

With all eyes fixed firmly on the envelope in the host’s hands, tension mounted as Andrew Wakelin announced the National Winner’s name. Cheers of applause resounded around the room as the triumphant team from Super Sausage Café, Potterspury, Northampton jumped up to accept their trophy and prize of a luxury, once-in-a-lifetime holiday, as the proud titleholder of Britain’s Best Cafe 2017.

Winning the award for the second consecutive year is reflective of Super Sausage Cafe’s popularity in their local community. The family run business is renowned for offering a warm and friendly service, quality homemade food and regularly hosting different motoring events.

Has it been a year already?

It's hard to believe that a year has passed since our last meeting (time flies when you're having fun and all that!).

We will be pleased to welcome The Kettle club for the usual meet 'n greet at 07:30 for breakfast at the Super Sausage Cafe. Before setting off to the Brackley Festival of Motorcycling.

We try to encourage everyone to check out the Brackley Festival of Motorcycling for the amazing charity work they do, supporting a whole host of different causes including the Air Ambulance Service & the "Blood Bikers".
